About the Humanities Teacher Position
We are seeking an outstanding Humanities Teacher to join our dedicated and passionate team. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to teach a range of Humanities subjects across Key Stages 3 and 4, potentially including History, Geography, Religious Studies, and Citizenship.
As a Humanities Teacher, you will:
* Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated Humanities lessons that cater to a range of learning styles.
* Create a supportive and stimulating classroom environment where students feel confident to explore Humanities subjects and develop their critical thinking skills.
* Assess and monitor student progress in Humanities, providing constructive feedback and support.
* Contribute to the development of the Humanities curriculum and departmental resources.
* Work collaboratively with colleagues to share best practice and ensure the highest standards of Humanities teaching.
The Ideal Humanities Teacher will have:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
* A degree in a Humanities subject or a related field.
* Experience teaching Humanities at the secondary level.
* A strong understanding of the UK National Curriculum for Humanities subjects.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* A passion for Humanities and a commitment to inspiring students.
