Job Description

Job Title: Humanities / PSHCE Teacher Area: Ealing, West London Start Date: September 2025 Contract Type: Full-Time, Permanent Salary: £170-£260 (dependent on experience) Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am-4:00pm Brief description: Teach Humanities and PSHCE to secondary students in a supportive, inclusive learning environment. About the school: Independent specialist school for pupils aged 5-21 with social, emotional and mental health needs and moderate learning difficulties. The school provides tailored academic and therapeutic support in a nurturing setting. About the role: Deliver engaging Humanities and PSHCE lessons across KS3 to KS5. Support personalised learning plans and contribute to a holistic approach that integrates academic and personal development. We're looking for a dedicated candidate to: Plan and deliver creative Humanities and PSHCE lessons Adapt teaching strategies to meet diverse needs Promote student wellbeing and independence Collaborate with teaching and therapeutic staff Participate in whole-school activities and enrichmentRequirements - The ideal candidate would have: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS or QTLS) Experience teaching Humanities and/or PSHCE Understanding of SEMH and SEND Ability to build positive relationships with learners Strong classroom and behaviour managementOnly shortlisted candidates will be contacted Prospero Teaching is acting as an employment business/education recruitment agency in relation to this vacancy.
