Job Title: Humanities Teacher Location: Sinfin Salary: £145 – £225 per day (depending on experience) Start Date: Immediately Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time Do you have a passion for inspiring young minds through the exploration of History, Geography, and Social Studies? GSL Education are currently seeking a dedicated Humanities Teacher to join a supportive school community in Sinfin. This opportunity is ideal for an enthusiastic Humanities Teacher who is confident delivering engaging lessons across the Humanities curriculum and fostering a love of learning in every pupil. As a Humanities Teacher, you will: Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in History, Geography, RE or related subjects across Key Stages. Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment where students feel encouraged and valued. Support pupils’ academic and personal growth through differentiated learning strategies. Work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance curriculum delivery and assessment. Monitor student progress and adapt teaching methods to suit diverse learning needs. To be a successful Humanities Teacher, you will: Hold UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification. Possess strong subject knowledge in Humanities disciplines. Showcase excellent classroom management and communication skills. Be adaptable, committed, and passionate about supporting student success. Have an enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service or be willing to apply. Provide a full, up-to-date CV with explanations for any employment gap over the last 10 years.
