Humanities Teacher

£140 - £220 per day
Job Duties:
Plan and deliver engaging and effective humanities lessons to students
Assess and evaluate students' progress, providing feedback to support their development
Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive approach to teaching and learning
Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and training sessions
Required Qualifications:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Degree in Humanities or related field
Experience teaching humanities at the secondary level
Education:
Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Humanities or related field
Experience:
Previous experience teaching humanities at the secondary level
Knowledge and Skills:
Strong understanding of the humanities curriculum
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Effective classroom management techniques
Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners
Preferred Qualifications:
Postgraduate qualification in Education
Experience with assessment for learning strategies
Working Conditions:
Work in a school setting, full-time hours, regular term-time schedule

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
