We are seeking a dedicated educator to teach History, Geography, or Religious Studies across Key Stages 3 and 4, with potential for KS5 depending on experience. Duties as Humanities Teacher:
Deliver engaging and well-structured Humanities lessons that inspire curiosity and critical thinking.
Plan, prepare and assess students’ work in line with the national curriculum and departmental schemes.
Monitor and track pupil progress, providing timely interventions where needed.
Contribute to the wider school community through enrichment, trips, or extracurricular activities.
Ideal Humanities Teacher:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
A degree in a Humanities-related subject as Humanities Teacher.
Experience teaching Humanities at KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable but not essential).
Strong behaviour management skills and high expectations of student achievement.
A commitment to continuous professional development and a genuine enthusiasm for the subject.
