About the role:
The Humanities Teacher will deliver engaging lessons across Key Stages, with a preference for candidates with strong History experience. The role includes planning and adapting schemes of work, assessing progress, and working closely with colleagues to ensure high-quality teaching. This is a temporary to permanent role with opportunities for progression.
We're looking for a dedicated candidate to:
Plan and deliver Humanities lessons, particularly History, across Key Stages
Adapt teaching to meet the needs of diverse learners
Foster curiosity, critical thinking, and a love of learning
Contribute to the wider school community and enrichment activities
Work collaboratively within a supportive teamRequirements - The ideal candidate would have:
QTS or QTLS with Humanities teaching experience
Strong subject knowledge, ideally History specialism
Ability to engage and inspire pupils across Key Stages
Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
