Job Advertisement: Full-Time Humanities Teacher  Location: Preston, Lancashire Contract Duration: 10th November 2025 – 21st February 2026 Key Stages: KS3 & KS4 Subjects: History, Geography, and Religious Studies (flexible based on specialism) Are you a passionate and dedicated Humanities Teacher looking for your next opportunity? A welcoming and well-regarded secondary school in Preston is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Humanities Teacher to join their team on a full-time basis to cover a maternity leave. What We’re Looking For: A qualified teacher with QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) Strong subject knowledge across History, Geography, and/or Religious Studies Experience teaching KS3 and KS4 A commitment to creating engaging, inclusive, and challenging lessons Ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities About the School: A supportive and collaborative teaching environment Excellent CPD opportunities and staff development A positive, student-focused culture Strong leadership and a dedicated Humanities department Key Details: Start Date: Monday, 10th November 2025 End Date: Friday, 21st February 2026 Contract Type: Full-time, temporary (maternity cover) Location: Preston, Lancashire Pay: MPS/UPS – dependent on experience Whether you're an experienced teacher or an ECT, we encourage you to apply if you’re passionate about delivering high-quality Humanities education.
