Humanities Teacher – Secondary School (11–16) Location: Birmingham, B10 Salary: £32,916 – £51,048 (MPS/UPS) or PAYE Day Rate Start: ASAP Contract: Full-time, Supply or Permanent for the right candidate Do you have a passion for history, geography, and the stories that shape our world? This is an exciting opportunity for a Humanities Teacher to join a supportive and forward-thinking secondary school, teaching across KS3 and KS4. We’re working with an Ofsted-rated “Good” school where Humanities plays a central role in the curriculum, encouraging students to think critically, engage with the past, and understand the world around them. What you’ll be doing: Teaching Humanities across KS3 and KS4 (History, Geography, and RE depending on specialism) Planning and delivering engaging lessons that bring topics to life Supporting students to achieve their best in GCSE examinations Contributing to curriculum development and enrichment within the Humanities faculty Taking part in wider school activities, trips, and events What we’re looking for: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) with a specialism in History, Geography, or RE Experience teaching at KS3 and KS4 essential Strong subject knowledge and the ability to inspire curiosity and critical thinking A reflective and adaptable teacher committed to student success Why this school?
