Humanities Teacher - Cardiff (January Start)
Secondary Education | Full-Time / Long-Term Role
Empowering Learning Cardiff is seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Humanities Teacher to join a thriving secondary school in Cardiff from January 2026. This is an exciting opportunity to inspire students across Key Stages 3 and 4, fostering curiosity and critical thinking across subjects such as History, Geography, and Religious Studies.
The Role
Deliver engaging and inclusive Humanities lessons across KS3 and KS4.
Plan, prepare, and assess lessons in line with curriculum objectives.
Support students' academic progress and personal development.
Contribute to the wider school community and extra-curricular enrichment.
Collaborate with colleagues to share best practice and raise attainment.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Degree in a Humanities-related subject (History, Geography, RS, or similar).
Proven classroom experience in secondary education.
Strong subject knowledge and enthusiasm for the Humanities.
Excellent communication, organisation, and behaviour management skills.
A passion for inspiring young people and promoting a love of learning.
