Humanities Teachers - Cheltenham Secondary Schools - Various opportunities
Are you a passionate Humanities Teacher ready to inspire the next generation? Do you enjoy bringing humanities to life and helping young people understand the world through engaging and thought-provoking lessons?
Tradewind Recruitment are looking for enthusiastic and dedicated Humanities Teachers to work in secondary schools in and around the Cheltenham area. We have a range of opportunities available for both part-time and full-time teachers, starting as soon as possible and also from January 2026.
Whether you're an experienced teacher or an ECT, we can offer roles to match your skills, experience, and availability. Tradewind Recruitment works with a wide variety of secondary schools across Cheltenham, meaning we can find placements close to your home and suited to your career goals.
Key Information:
* Start dates: As soon as possible or January 2026
* Full-time and part-time roles available
* Working hours: 8.30am-3.30pm, weekdays only
* Pay between £165-£300 per day, depending on experience and role
* Opportunities for short-term, long-term, or potential permanent contracts
We are looking for Teachers who:
* Have a passion for education and Humanities, and can make the subject engaging for students aged 11-18
* Build positive relationships with students and colleagues
* Demonstrate strong classroom management and clear communication skills
* Show enthusiasm, creativity, and a genuine love for teaching
* Can inspire curiosity and critical thinking through innovative and inclusive lessons
Essential Requirements:
* Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or have recent experience teaching Humanities subjects at secondary level
* Hold an enhanced DBS Disclosure and provide overseas police clearances (if applicable)
* Provide professional reference checks (completed on your behalf)
* CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible
* Hold the legal right to work in the UK
