Are you a passionate and dedicated Humanities Teacher seeking to make a difference in the lives of students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs? A respected secondary school in Hillingdon, London, is looking for an inspiring Humanities teacher to join their team. This school provides a unique, tailored curriculum designed to support and empower students who face significant challenges in accessing traditional education. Key responsibilities will include: Delivering creative and tailored Humanities lessons that address the unique needs of students, fostering their engagement and development. Supporting students who are at risk or facing challenges that prevent them from attending mainstream schools, helping them to progress at their own pace. Promoting positive social and emotional development, encouraging independent thinking and personal responsibility. Working closely with colleagues to deliver an innovative curriculum designed to meet the diverse needs of each child.The ideal candidate will have: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is preferred, with a relevant degree in education. A genuine passion for supporting vulnerable students and a strong understanding of SEMH needs. Experience teaching Humanities subjects in a secondary setting, with the ability to adapt content to engage students with different learning styles. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students and establish positive relationships. The patience, creativity, and compassion to provide a nurturing environment where students feel safe and valued.This is a fantastic opportunity for a committed Humanities teacher looking to make a real impact.
