This is an exciting opportunity to teach a broad range of Humanities subjects, such as History, Geography, and Citizenship, in a supportive and vibrant school environment.
The Role
As a Humanities Teacher, you will:
Plan and deliver engaging lessons across Key Stage 3 and 4, covering Humanities subjects including History and Geography
Inspire students to develop critical thinking, enquiry skills, and a broad understanding of social sciences and the world
Use varied teaching strategies to meet the needs of all learners, including those with diverse backgrounds and learning styles
Assess and monitor student progress, providing clear feedback and support
Contribute to curriculum development and extracurricular activities within the Humanities departmentPerson Specification / Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will:
Hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
Have experience teaching Humanities subjects at secondary level in the UK
Be confident delivering engaging lessons and managing classroom behaviour effectively
Possess an Enhanced DBS or be willing to obtain one
Have the legal right to work in the UK
Provide a CV covering your last 10 years of employment, where applicableAbout the School (This Client)
