We are seeking a skilled HV Engineer to play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing high voltage systems within the industrial sector. This position offers a fantastic opportunity to contribute to the engineering department with a focus on safety and efficiency.

Description
Oversee and maintain high voltage electrical systems to ensure operational reliability and safety.
The HV engineer will have the authority to operate the electrical distribution to ensure continuous supply to the site customers.
Conduct routine inspections and identify potential issues proactively.
Develop and implement maintenance schedules for high voltage equipment.
Collaborate with the engineering team to improve system performance.
Ensure compliance with all industry regulations and safety standards.
Provide technical support during troubleshooting and fault resolution.
Document all maintenance and repair activities accurately.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of engineering processes and practices.Profile
The role holder will be time served and have an indentured apprenticeship or will have a minimum of an HNC / SVQ in discipline engineering.
The role holder will have a minimum of an HND / HNC in electrical engineering or equivalent qualification
The role holder must have experience in High Voltage switching operations and have operated as a Senior Authorised Person.
Ideally you will come from an industrial sector background
Excellent communication skills
Job Offer
Competitive salary ranging from £50,000 to £60,000 GBP.
