The LU Work Bank Programme requires an engineer to oversee a number of projects on the LU Network. These include:
Scoping document for Fibre Optic cable installation
Renewal of HV Switchgear at Mansell Street and Greenwich
Close out of Holburn DC Switchgear Project
Close out of Paddington Transformer Room project
Support the Greenwich GTA installation works
The engineer will work with with Project Managers and HV Discipline Engineers on each project to ensue successful outcomes
1. Experience on railway related projects and working with 11kV or 22kV installations as well as LVAC Systems. Experience of DC traction systems would be an advantage
2. Experience in several of the following areas: conception, specification, design, construction, testing, commissioning, bringing into use, operation and or disposal of assets, systems or changes to engineering practice
2. Experience of managing small multi-disciplinary engineering teams or applying engineering principles to resolve low complexity technical challenges
4. Experience of building relationships with and influencing a wide range of stakeholder at all levels within and outside of the organisation
