Job Description
Senior Authorised Person (SAP) - UK Wide (Travel & Stay-aways Required)
NEOS Engineering are partnered with a leading power services provider who are looking for an experienced Senior Authorised Person (SAP) to join their team on a permanent basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled SAP with DNO experience to take on a varied role covering projects and maintenance across the UK, working on 33kV systems.
Key Responsibilities:
•Carrying out SAP duties on 33kV networks, ensuring all works are delivered safely and to the highest standards.
•Performing protection testing, cable testing, cold commissioning, and inspections.
•Supporting both maintenance activities and construction works, including cutting in substations.
•Covering projects UK-wide, with travel and stay-aways required (all accommodation and food paid for).
•Leading on safety, compliance, and best practice across all works.
Requirements:
•Current or recent SAP status with experience on 33kV.
•Strong background in protection testing and commissioning activities.
•DNO experience highly desirable.
•Ability to work flexibly across the UK and undertake stay-aways.
•Excellent safety awareness and technical competence within power systems.
