Job Title: HVAC Commissioning Engineer
Location: Bristol, Somerset
Salary/Benefits: £25k - £45k + Training & Benefits
Our client is a leading name within the HVAC Commissioning Industry. They are recruiting for a knowledgeable Commissioning Engineer in the South West of England, who has a strong work history and proven technical knowledge. Applicants will be undertaking the balancing of water and air systems across a range of commercial and public sector client sites in addition to other BSRIA / CIBSE compliant tasks. The company is a privately owned outfit who have a family feel and positive reputation. Salaries on offer are competitive and benefits include: overtime, training and company vehicle use.
You will be travelling across: Bristol, Yate, Thornbury, Dursley, Stroud, Gloucester, Cheltenham, Cirencester, Swindon, Chippenham, Bath, Devizes, Trowbridge, Frome, Warminster, Weston-super-Mare, Portishead, Wells, Glastonbury, Taunton, Bridgwater, Lydney, Ross-on-Wye, Ledbury, Tewkesbury, Hereford, Pontypool, Newport, Cardiff, Barry, Caerphilly, Yeovil, Chard.
Experience / Qualifications:
- Strong experience working as a HVAC Commissioning Engineer
- Robust knowledge of BSRIA and CIBSE guidelines
- Ideally will be qualified with CSA Grades / Eastwood Park Training
- Hardworking attitude
- Good literacy, numeracy and IT skills
- Strong client-facing skills
The Role:
- Undertaking balancing of water / air, fan coil, supply / extract and AHU systems across client sites
- Back-flushing and power-flushing
- Balancing of heated and chilled water systems
- Assessing flow rates and velocities
- Producing detailed technical reports
- Travelling in line with company requirements
- Handing over of systems to clients and providing demonstrations
- Maintaining excellent working relationships with clients
- Adhering to strict deadlines
