HVAC Engineer
📍 Location: Nationwide
💷 Salary: 40-50k + Company Car + Tools

🔧 About the Role
We’re looking for a highly skilled and passionate HVAC Engineer to take a hands-on, technical leadership role within our engineering team. This role combines field-based HVAC work with technical mentoring, training, and quality oversight across your region.

📋 Key Responsibilities
1. Engineer Recruitment
* Support the Contract Service Manager (CSM) with technical assessments and interviews.
2. Onboarding & Training
* Train new engineers on systems and processes (e.g., Solarvista, defect sheets, F-Gas compliance).
* Mentor apprentices and report their progress to the National Training Manager.
3. Technical Development
* Work with the National Training Manager to ensure your team has clear technical development plans.
* Provide telephone and on-site support to your team as needed.
4. Auditing
* Assist the CSM with audits on site work, paperwork quality, F-Gas compliance, and safety standards.
5. F-Gas Compliance
* Lead F-Gas compliance in your region—ensure engineers meet legal and company standards.
6. Asset Management
* Maintain accurate asset lists at client sites.
* Ensure all equipment is properly labelled.
7. Call-Outs & Support
* Act as a first responder for urgent call-outs.
* Investigate any call-outs not resolved on the first visit.
8. Technical Lead
* Be the technical go-to person for equipment and processes.
* Liaise with suppliers and the Projects team to ensure proper handover and O&M documentation for new installs.
* Own and maintain service checklists for all equipment.
