HVAC / Refrigeration Engineer – London (Regional Support with Occasional Midlands Callouts) Location: London, UK Travel: Regional support across London with occasional Midlands callouts (on-call only) Job Type: Full-time Salary: £45,000 – £55,000 per annum (depending on experience) Start Date: ASAP Join a Trusted and Growing Engineering Team We’re offering an exciting opportunity for an experienced HVAC / Refrigeration Engineer to join our professional and friendly team based in London. This full-time role provides a varied workload across a diverse range of client sites throughout the London area, including luxury residential developments, commercial properties, and hospitality venues. Occasional travel to the Midlands may be required during on-call periods. About the Role Reporting to the Service Supervisor and Directors, you’ll be responsible for the service, maintenance, and repair of HVAC and refrigeration systems across a broad portfolio of commercial, domestic, and light industrial clients. You’ll primarily cover sites across the London region, with occasional on-call support for clients in the Midlands. What You’ll Be Doing * Service, maintain, and (occasionally) install and commission: * Chilled water systems * Gas-fired heating plant * DX systems (VRV, splits, multi-splits) * Industrial and commercial refrigeration systems (chillers, freezers, condensers) * Water heaters + boilers/heating systems * Occasional work in light industrial engineering environments * Carry out reactive repairs and diagnostics on HVAC and refrigeration systems * Perform routine inspections and identify potential issues or inefficiencies * Collaborate with team members on complex problems and larger-scale installations * Operate independently in the field while maintaining strong communication with the wider team What We’re Looking For * Proven experience across HVAC and refrigeration systems * F-Gas certification (required) * Gas Safe certification (advantageous but not essential) * Confident working on premium sites including high-end residential and hospitality sectors * Strong diagnostic and technical problem-solving skills * A full UK driving licence * Professional and self-sufficient with a collaborative attitude We’ll Support You With * Training and upskilling opportunities in HVAC, refrigeration, and gas systems * A technically engaging and varied role * Competitive salary of £45,000 – £55,000, based on experience and qualifications * A supportive team of skilled engineers and supervisors * Exposure to diverse environments and systems across London and beyond Ready to Apply?
