Are you a skilled HVAC Engineer looking for a stable, short-term role with a leading name in the Facilities Management sector? We’re working with a globally recognised FM service provider to recruit an experienced HVAC Engineer for a 3-month contract based at a single, high-profile site in Nottingham.
This role offers an excellent opportunity to showcase your expertise in a professional environment while supporting essential building services across the site.
🛠️ Role Overview:
As part of the site’s expert FM team, you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring the HVAC systems are operating reliably and efficiently. Your responsibilities will include:
* Carrying out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) on heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems to minimise downtime and keep systems running smoothly.
* Responding to reactive maintenance tasks, including diagnosing faults, performing repairs, and restoring systems to full functionality quickly and safely.
* Supporting project work, including system upgrades, installations, and refurbishments in collaboration with engineers, contractors, and site managers.
* Ensuring compliance with health & safety standards, statutory regulations, and site-specific policies, maintaining high standards of professionalism at all times.
✅ What We're Looking For:
* Recognised HVAC Qualification (e.g. NVQ Level 2/3 in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration or equivalent)
* F-Gas certification (essential)
* Proven experience in HVAC maintenance in a commercial or facilities environment
* Strong knowledge of PPM schedules and reactive fault-finding
* Able to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
* Excellent time management and communication skills

* Contract Type: 3-Month Temporary Assignment
* Rate of Pay: £18.30 per hour (PAYE)
* Location: Nottingham – Single Commercial Site (no travel required)
* Working Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday
