Job Description
We are excited to announce a new opportunity for a HVAC Engineer to join our team on a prestigious contract at the Amazon facility in Dunfermline. Position Overview
As a HVAC Engineer, you will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and optimisation of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems across the Amazon site. You'll ensure all systems operate efficiently and safely, contributing to a comfortable and compliant working environment for site personnel.
This is a static role - no travel required - and offers a structured work schedule with no call-outs, making it ideal for professionals seeking work-life balance.
Key Responsibilities
Perform planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs on HVAC systems including split units, AHUs, VRFs, chillers, and ventilation systems.
Diagnose faults and carry out effective repairs to minimise downtime.
Monitor system performance and recommend improvements or upgrades where necessary.
Ensure compliance with F-GAS regulations and maintain accurate service records.
Liaise with site management and other contractors to coordinate works and ensure minimal disruption.
Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to health and safety protocols.
Requirements
F-GAS Category 1 certification - essential.
Proven experience in HVAC maintenance and repair, ideally within commercial or industrial environments.
Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems.
Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
