Job Description
RSW are seeking experienced HVAC Fitters to join their client in the Somerset area. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and the ability to interpret schematics effectively. This role involves the installation, maintenance, and repair of various equipment, including air conditioning systems. The Fitter will also play a vital role in leading projects and ensuring that all work meets safety and quality standards.
Required Skills
We’re seeking candidates with proven experience in:
* Mechanical fitting using technical drawings and instructions.
* Using tools and equipment for the removal and installation of mechanical plant.
* Must have HVAC mechanical fitter experience in installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems.
* Proven mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in equipment repair and maintenance.
* Familiarity with reading and understanding schematics is essential.
* Previous experience in construction or related fields is preferred.
* Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage tasks effectively within a team setting.
Qualifications
* A full Level 3 Apprenticeship or NVQ Level 3 Diploma in Engineering or Mechanical Fitting,
* or a related discipline such as Mechanical, Aircraft, Plant, Machinery, Marine, Vehicle Maintenance, or Mechanical Manufacturing (Fitting and Assembly),
* or Installing and Commissioning Machinery and Equipment.
* A valid CCNSG Safety Passport is essential.
