HVAC&R Design Engineer 
(Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning, Refrigeration)

Nottinghamshire | Full time | NG9

We’re working with a market‑leading manufacturer and looking for an HVAC&R Design Engineer to support and develop their growing product range.

 HVAC&R Design Engineer - Key Responsibilities  
Design and develop refrigeration systems and teaching apparatus 
Produce 3D CAD models and engineering drawings 
Perform thermodynamic calculations and system simulations 
Select components: compressors, heat exchangers, expansion devices, refrigerants 
Build and test prototypes, analysing performance and efficiency 
Ensure compliance with PED, CE marking and safety standards  HVAC&R Design Engineer - The Candidate  
Strong understanding of refrigeration cycles and thermodynamics 
Experience in HVAC&R or thermofluid system design 
Knowledge of heat transfer and fluid flow
