This is an excellent opportunity to join my client, a trusted, industry-leading Multidisciplinary Consultancy, renowned for lending their expertise to a range of important projects across the civil engineering, hydrology, and environmental landscapes. They are on the lookout for a talented, experienced Hydraulic Modeller, willing to take on a variety of challenging projects alongside an already-established team of professionals, based near the lively, diverse Capital City of London.

Responsibilities for the role of Hydraulic Modeller include:
Contributing to a range of engaging projects across the public and private sectors, including residential developments, healthcare, higher education, natural flood management and flood alleviation, etc.
Developing models using Flood Modeller and Tuflow (and similar software systems)
Producing Flood Risk Assessments, Flood Consequence Assessments, Hydrological Assessments, Nutrient Neutrality Assessments, Drainage Strategies, and Sustainable Drainage Systems (SuDS)
Contributing to Wetland Management, Re-Wilding, and other environmental schemes
Flood Risk mapping and estimation
Engaging with clients and other stakeholders across the public and private sectors
Required skills and experience for the role of Hydraulic Modeller include:
A Bachelor's and/or Master's Degree (or equivalent qualification) in Hydrology, Geography, or Environmental Science (or other, relevant discipline)
Experience of working in a UK-based consultancy, specifically within a flood risk/hydraulic modelling role
Confident and competent in the use of Flood Modeller and Tuflow
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Demonstrable passion for flood risk, drainage, and climate change
Desirable skills and experience for the role of Hydraulic Modeller include:
Hold a full, valid UK driving licence
Excellent time management skills
