Job Description
Our client is seeking a skilled Hydraulic Engineer to join their dynamic team, working on clean and wastewater projects. This is a contract role within the water industry, providing an excellent opportunity for those with significant experience in civil engineering and hydraulic systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and analyse gravity hydraulic flow in clean and wastewater treatment works
Utilise HADES software for modelling and analysis
Provide design input across multiple treatment sites independently
Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders effectively
Work on AMP8 Framework projects for United Utilities, Severn Trent Water, and Wessex Water
Job Requirements:
Experience in civil/water engineering with strong knowledge of gravity hydraulic flow
Proficiency with HADES software
Understanding of Water Frameworks (AMP projects preferred)
Experience in wastewater treatment works (WwTW) and water treatment works (WTW)
Strong communication skills for liaison with various teams and stakeholders
Contract Details:
12-month contract with the potential for extension
Inside IR35
Competitive day rate (dependent on experience and location flexibility)
Location / Working Arrangement:
Remote/hybrid working with occasional site or office visits based on project requirements
