The role:
* Lead and inspire the site Hygiene team, setting the strategic agenda for hygiene, food safety, and compliance.
* Develop and deliver a risk-based cleaning and validation programme that ensures audit readiness 365 days a year.
* Partner with Technical, Production, and H&S teams to embed a proactive, quality-focused culture.
* Own the hygiene budget – driving efficiency while maintaining the highest operational standards.
What We’re Looking For:
* Deep knowledge of HACCP, BRC, and Health & Safety standards.
* Strong leadership skills – confident influencing at all levels, from shop floor to senior management.
* Experience managing budgets, people, and suppliers effectively in a fast-moving, customer-focused setting.
* Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with a continuous improvement mindset.
* Advanced Food Hygiene or Level 4 HACCP
