We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Night Hygiene Manager to join our dynamic team at Noble Foods. This crucial role involves leading the hygiene operations on-site during the night shift, ensuring the highest standards of hygiene, food safety, and health & safety are met.
This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in maintaining our reputation for quality and excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and ensure the delivery of high standards of hygiene, health and safety, and technical compliance to meet both customer and audit requirements.
* Manage, motivate, and develop a team of Hygiene Operatives, ensuring optimal performance and high levels of engagement. Take a hands-on approach to provide guidance and support as needed.
* Drive and implement improvements to processes, procedures, and hygiene practices. Focus on enhancing visual and microbial standards throughout the factory.
* Support in auditing processes, conducting hygiene audits, and ensuring that the site remains “audit-ready” at all times. Ensure hygiene activities are compliant with food safety regulations and customer specifications.
* Be an active member of HACCP/VACCP teams
* Ensure all staff are fully trained on hygiene processes, chemical handling, and food safety regulations. Maintain accurate training records and identify opportunities for continuous learning.
* Oversee the management of cleaning chemicals and equipment, ensuring stock levels are maintained and safe usage is monitored.
* Work closely with site management, engineering, and technical teams to implement improvements and ensure the hygiene management plan is followed
About You:
* To be successful in this role, we are looking for someone with the following:
* IOSH Managing Safely
* Food Safety Level 3 (minimum Level 2)
* HACCP Level 3
* COSHH Trained
* Manual Handling & Safe Systems of Work knowledge
* Accident Investigation experience
* Experience in managing hygiene teams within a food manufacturing environment
* Familiarity with cleaning processes, food safety regulations, and chemical handling
* Strong leadership capabilities with the ability to motivate and engage teams
* Knowledge of the principles of food manufacturing in high-risk/low-risk/low-care environments
