Hygiene Manager – Food Manufacturing
📍 Location: Wales
💼 Employment Type: Full-time | Permanent | Shift-Based
🕒 Shift Pattern: Mon – Fri 9am – 5pm

Diamond Search Recruitment are looking for a Hygiene Manager with a strong background in food manufacturing to lead and develop our clients hygiene team. If you’re hands-on, people-focused, and passionate about food safety and compliance, this is a great opportunity to take your career to the next level.
✅ Key Responsibilities
* Lead, support, and train a team of hygiene supervisors and operatives across shifts.
* Implement hygiene improvement plans, and support deep cleans
* Drive a hygiene-first culture across the site through effective leadership and coaching.
* Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards (BRCGS, GMP).
* Plan and coordinate daily, routine, and deep cleans alongside Production and Engineering teams.
* Carry out cleaning validations, swabbing, and internal audits.
* Represent the hygiene department in customer and third-party audits.
* Track, manage and report on hygiene KPIs across the site.
🔍 What We’re Looking For
Essential:
* Proven experience in a hygiene role within food manufacturing.
* Strong communication and people management skills.
* High attention to detail and a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset.
* Computer literate (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, ERP systems).
* Flexible approach to working shifts and supporting business needs.
Desirable:
* Level 3 Food Safety & HACCP (or willingness to train).
* Chemical awareness training (or willingness to train).
