Role Overview
Take the lead in managing and growing a dedicated team of supervisors and operatives, setting the benchmark for hygiene across the site.
You’ll drive standards, coach your team, implement continuous improvement initiatives, and play a frontline role in customer and BRCGS audits.
Key Responsibilities:

Manage, train, and develop the hygiene team across all shifts, supporting deep clean cycles as required
*
Drive improvements in site GMP, cleaning efficiency and cost control
*
Oversee hygiene strategy and performance to meet and exceed KPIs
*
Work cross-functionally with Operations, Technical, Planning & Engineering teams to minimise downtime while ensuring the highest hygiene standards
*
Investigate non-conformance results (micro & allergen) and implement corrective actions
*
Lead internal hygiene audits and support external customer visits and BRCGS audits
Skills / Experience
*
Experienced in food manufacturing hygiene management
*
Exceptional communication, training and leadership skills
*
Hands-on, solution-oriented, with strong organisational and decision-making abilities
*
Customer-focused with confidence in audit environments
*
Solid integrity and a “can-do” attitude
*
Ideally Level 3 Food Safety & HACCP (training can be provided)
