Hygiene Operative
£14.24 - £21.87 per hour - Full time
Fixed Night Shift - 22:00 to 06:00

GI Group are currently seeking dedicated experienced hygiene operatives on behalf of one of our prestigious client who are the biggest producer of prepared meals and making delicious chilled and frozen ready meals for the UK.
Our Food Manufacturing client based in Hyde, Manchester requires an experienced hygiene operative to maintain safe working practices across site and continuously improve the hygiene practices.
Key role and key responsibilities include:
* Must have previous experience in hygiene/cleaning roles
* Carrying out scheduled daily cleaning tasks
* Cleaning of processing equipment and production lines to meet required standards, measured through testing of samples
* Deep cleaning of production areas
* Post cleaning checks to make sure everything has been completed properly
* Ensuring that all paperwork is correctly completed
* Making sure that everything you do complies with company procedures for Health & Safety and Hygiene
* Ensuring that your cleaning and personal protective equipment are functioning correctly at all times
* The ability to work effectively under pressure of time
* Reporting any incidents or environmental concerns to your line manager.
* A role like this will vary and will require you to work across the factory - however the following are likely to be included:
Hours of work:
* Night Shift: 22:00 - 06:00
* Sunday to Thursday
