Job Description
The Dalziel group serves the meat processing and retail butchery industry from strategically located distribution sites throughout the United Kingdom. Our product range encompasses meat seasoning blends and ingredients for food processors, frozen and chilled meat, a full range of butcher’s supplies, crumb and battering systems, plastic casings for cooked meat applications and industrial food machinery.
We are currently looking for an enthusiastic, and motivated individual to join our team at the Felling site reporting into the Quality Manager. In this role you will ensure the factory’s equipment operates contamination free whilst working inline with the food safety regulations.
Responsibilities
Able to physically lift and move equipment components.
Able to disassemble and assemble equipment components.
Responsible for the hygiene process within the production area.
Ensure the working environment and equipment meet internal hygiene standards at all times.
Responsible for the appropriate storage of hygiene equipment, chemicals and cleaning records.
Inspect equipment and identify any replacements, malfunctions or repairs.
Ensure all relevant safety signs are used correctly and appropriately (e.g. wet floor sign)
Responsible for the use and control of your own personal protective equipment
Actively promote clean as you go and right first time at all times
Adherence to food safety rules/processesThe Role

Additional £37.00 weekly attendance bonusWorking Days
Monday 12pm - 6pm
Tuesday - Wednesday 5am - 2pm
Thursday OFF
Friday 5am - 2pm
Saturday 5am - 11amOffer is subject to a satisfactory D&A test
