Job Description
Hygiene Operative – FMCG Factory
£12.21–£12.80 per hour | Temp to Perm
We’re looking for an experienced Hygiene Operative to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and food safety in our busy FMCG production site.
Key Responsibilities
*
Deep-clean production lines, equipment and factory areas to strict schedules
*
Safely prepare and use cleaning chemicals in full compliance with COSHH regulations
*
Dismantle and reassemble machinery for detailed sanitation
*
Complete accurate cleaning records and report any issues promptly
*
Work closely with production and quality teams to meet BRC and customer audit standards
About You
*
Previous hygiene or industrial cleaning experience in an FMCG or food production environment
*
Strong understanding of COSHH and safe chemical handling
*
Able to work efficiently to rigorous hygiene and safety protocols
*
Physically fit and comfortable working in chilled or wet conditions
*
Reliable, self-motivated and a good communicator
Pay & Shifts
*
£12.21–£12.80 per hour
*
Day shift: Monday to Friday
*
Night shift: Monday to Thursday
