Job Description

We are currently recruiting for a Night Shift Hygiene Team Leader to join a well-established food manufacturing site in Spalding. This role will involve leading the Hygiene team to ensure the site is cleaned to a high standard, maintaining food safety, and supporting the Hygiene Supervisor where required.

Key Responsibilities

  * 

    Lead and support a team of Hygiene Operatives.

  * 

    Ensure all daily and periodical cleaning tasks are completed to schedule.

  * 

    Complete and sign off hygiene records and cleaning documentation.

  * 

    Carry out visual inspections and swabbing as required.

  * 

    Conduct stock checks and report items required for ordering.

  * 

    Step up to cover Hygiene Supervisor duties when needed.

  * 

    Support training of staff on hygiene procedures and standards.

  * 

    Promote excellent Health & Safety and Food Safety practices at all times.

What We’re Looking For

  * 

    Previous experience working in a Hygiene role within a food manufacturing environment.

  * 

    Able to lead and motivate a team.

  * 

    Organised, reliable, and able to work to high standards.

  * 

    Good communication skills and attention to detail.

  * 

    Flexible and able to work across shifts when required.

  * 

    Basic IT skills.
