A Good Secondary School based in Redbridge, is looking for an enthusiastic and passionate ICT/Computing Teacher to join their team ASAP.

This large secondary school located in the borough of Redbridge, are looking to recruit an ICT/Computing Teacher to join their team ASAP. The Senior Leadership Team have the highest expectations and ambitions for every student. The school have undergone many changes over the years, but at the heart they remain a school with traditional values.
The Senior Leadership Team are very supportive of their staff and are always trying to better their expertise. Having been graded Good in their last Ofsted, it was stated that "Leaders place great importance on developing the whole child. They have high expectations on pupil's behaviour, and students do behave well, showing respect towards each other and towards adults."

ICT/COMPUTING TEACHER:
Here lies the opportunity to join not only a great school, but a very successful department. The aim of the Computing Department is to equip pupils to use computational thinking and creativity to understand and change the world. The core of computing is computer science, in which the pupils' competence is developed in the principles of information and computation, how digital systems work, and how to put this knowledge to use through programming. Building on this knowledge and understanding, pupils are equipped to use information technology to create programmes, systems and a range of content. The team are looking to appoint a talented and dynamic ICT/Computing Teacher who will be responsible for teaching ICT and Computing to KS3/KS4. You will be working alongside a large and very supportive team to work closely together to ensure that the children are given the opportunity to reach their own individual goals.
The role is to start ASAP and will continue in September.
To be considered for this ICT/Computing Teacher role you must have:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
PGCE in ICT/Computing
Experience teaching ICT/Computing to KS3 and KS4
