Are you a passionate ICT teacher who thrives on making a difference?
We are looking for an ICT Teacher to join a specialist SEMH school based in Southwark, catering to 42 students aged 11–16 with a range of additional needs including ASD, SEMH, and challenging behaviour.
We are seeking a resilient, innovative, and nurturing ICT Teacher to join a dedicated team and lead the delivery of computing and digital skills across the school.
About the Role – ICT Teacher
* Deliver engaging and differentiated ICT lessons tailored to individual EHCPs and learning profiles
* Support students in developing digital literacy, coding, online safety, and functional computing skills
* Create a safe and structured classroom environment that encourages participation and progress
* Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including SENCOs, therapists, and behaviour support staff
* Contribute to curriculum development, accreditation pathways, and project-based learning
What We’re Looking For – ICT Teacher
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) – ICT or Computing specialism preferred
* Experience teaching in SEMH or SEN settings, particularly with students with ASD and behavioural needs
* Strong classroom and behaviour management skills, with a trauma-informed approach
* Must be able to work on own initiative and adapt to the changing needs of the school
* Adaptable, patient, and committed to inclusive, student-centred learning
* Confident using a range of software and digital tools to enhance engagement
* Not suitable for ECT’s
