Job Description
Our client, a Freight Forwarder based in Felixstowe, has an excellent opportunity for a experienced and enthusiastic individual to join their Import Customs Clearance team.
Duties would include:
* Responsible for producing quality and accurate customs entries.
* Obtaining accurate information from importers, before completing customs entry
* Monitoring of arrivals
* Building excellent working relationships with clients, resolving any issues
* Working within HMRC regulations
* Communicating with customs authorities to ensure compliance with regulations
* Address and resolve any documentation or shipment issues promptly.
Required Experience
* Import customs clearance experience is essential
* Knowledge of CNS and Destin8 or similar preferred
* Customer Service skills
* Attention to detail
