Description
As the Import & Export Compliance Controller you will
Ensure compliance with import and export regulations and standards across the UK footprint
Ensure the company have access to accurate and up-to-date records of international shipments.
Coordinate with customs authorities and other regulatory bodies as needed.
Monitor and implement changes in trade laws and regulations.
Provide guidance to internal teams on compliance requirements.
Instruct key freight forwarding partners with respect to documentation for customs clearance and related processes.
Support the logistics department in resolving compliance issues.
Work collaboratively with stakeholders to enhance compliance procedures.Profile
A successful Import & Export Compliance Controller should have:
Strong knowledge of international trade regulations and compliance, including USA re-export regulations ITAR / EAR and export licensing
Experience in logistics or a related field within the industrial / manufacturing industry.
Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in managing trade compliance documentation and records.
Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
Ideally a working knowledge of Ricardo Duty Management SystemJob Offer
