Inclusion and Wellbeing Leader Location: Ilford, Essex Sector: Primary Job Type: Part Time, Permanent Salary: Pay to scale (depending on experience) Starts: September 2025 Are you passionate about supporting young people’s emotional and educational development? We have an exciting opportunity for you!! Responsibilities: As an Inclusion and Wellbeing Leader, you will: Lead and manage SEND, safeguarding and pupil wellbeing. Work in partnership with the Headteacher and senior leaders to promote continued school improvement. Monitor the promotion of the highest standards of teaching and pupil progress across the curriculum and across all classes. Track the progress of pupils. Support teachers to identify any problems and intervene effectively. Requirements: QTS and the National Award in SEN co-ordination (NASENCO) or the SENCO national professional qualification. A minimum of 5 years teaching experience and 1 year as SENDCO and 2 years as DSL in schools graded at least ‘good’ in inspections. Additionally, prior experience of coaching, assessment, analysing data, school improvement, health and safety (including risk assessments), behaviour management, use of IT, curriculum development and quality assurance.
