Independent Domestic Violence Advisor (IDVA)
📍 Based in Dudley (with some travel across the West Midlands)
💰 £24,310 - £27,781 (depending on experience & qualifications)
🕒 Full-time | Monday-Friday | 9am-5pm
🚗 Travel required

Are you passionate about empowering survivors and helping people rebuild their lives after abuse? 💪
We're looking for a compassionate and proactive Independent Domestic Violence Advisor (IDVA) to provide specialist support to those at high risk of harm.
You'll:
💬 Provide one-to-one, trauma-informed support
🧩 Assess risks, create safety plans & help clients access the right services
🤝 Work closely with partner agencies and attend MARAC meetings
🪷 Empower survivors to regain control and move forward with confidence
💼 What You'll Bring:
✨ Experience supporting victims of domestic abuse or vulnerable people
🧠 Knowledge of safeguarding, crisis intervention & risk assessment
💬 Excellent communication, empathy & organisational skills
🚙 Full driving licence and willingness to travel
👩🦰 Must be female (Occupational Requirement under Equality Act 2010)
