Job Description

Rocasa Consulting are looking for an Independent Living Advisor to join a large houisng association in the Nottingham / Derby area.
Please see the info below for the 2 Independent Living Advisor roles we have.
X1 Nottingham – 30 hours per week. This post will be covering 3 schemes across Nottingham.
X1 Derby – 35 hours per week. This post will be covering 2 schemes.
Length: 3 months
Rate: £14.39 p/h
DBS: Basic
Driving Licence: Required
Both posts require a full driving license for business use and will be expected to travel to cover other schemes. Experience in using computer systems and apps will include compliance, fire safety inspections, and health and safety reporting. And are customer facing.
Supporting older residents with day‑to‑day tenancy needs, customer service, scheme safety checks, contractor monitoring, record‑keeping, and responding to low‑level emergencies. Includes assisting with move‑ins, housing benefit queries, and promoting independence.
Essential Requirements:
  * Experience working with older people
  * Strong communication skills (written & verbal)
  * Ability to adapt communication to individual needs
  * Administrative and basic numeracy skills
  * Able to work independently and as part of a team
  * Good Microsoft Office skills
