💷 Rate: £205 per day

🔍 About the Role
As the Independent Reviewing Officer, you will:

🛡️ Lead and chair statutory reviews for children and young people in care, ensuring timely, high-quality planning.

👂 Ensure the voice of the child is central in all decisions, plans, and reviews.

🧩 Coordinate multi-agency child protection conferences in your role as Child Protection Chair.

📈 Provide robust quality assurance, ensuring care and protection plans meet legal, safeguarding, and best-practice standards.

🤝 Work closely with social workers, families, and professionals to support and challenge plans that affect vulnerable children.

📊 Monitor and track outcomes, ensuring accountability and continuous improvement in service delivery.

✅ What We’re Looking For

A qualified social worker (Social Work England registered or equivalent).
*
Proven experience in child protection and looked after children reviews.
*
Strong understanding of current legislation, statutory guidance, and safeguarding frameworks.
*
Confident, independent decision-maker with excellent communication and chairing skills.
*
Experience working within multi-agency environments.
