Industrial / COMPEX Electricians
Role: Industrial / COMPEX Electrician
Location: Glenfiddich, Scotland
Duration: 6–8 weeks (starting August)
Rate: £25 per hour (basic) + Overtime available
Hours: 10-hour days

This is a hands-on role supporting electrical installations and commissioning across complex fluid-handling systems, process equipment, and hazardous areas. You’ll be working as part of a highly skilled engineering team delivering electrical works to the highest safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:

Electrical installation and commissioning of industrial systems (motors, control panels, instrumentation)
*
Work in ATEX/hazardous areas – ensuring compliance with relevant regulations
*
Support commissioning and testing of process equipment including pumps, vessels, and filling systems
*
Fault-finding and diagnostics on control systems and PLC-related equipment
*
Work collaboratively with other trades and site engineers to meet project deadlines
Requirements:
*
Recognised Electrical Qualification (NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds or equivalent)
*
Valid COMPEX certification (EX01–04 minimum)
*
Previous experience in an industrial environment (distilleries, food, petrochemical, or similar)
*
Strong understanding of control panels, PLC wiring, and motor control systems
*
Ability to work 10-hour shifts with flexibility for overtime
*
Local labour is preferred, however accommodation can be provided if required
