We are in search of a dynamic, resilient, and compassionate individual with a sports-oriented background who understands the unique potential that physical activity holds in influencing positive behavioural change and nurturing mental wellbeing. The ideal candidate will possess outstanding interpersonal skills, a firm but fair approach to discipline and have the drive to meet each challenge with creativity and enthusiasm.
Key Responsibilities:
• Utilise your sports expertise to engage and motivate young people with challenging behaviour.
• Serve as a positive role model, mentor and coach, understanding the profound impact your guidance can have on a young person's life.
• Mediate and manage conflict effectively, ensuring a safe and positive learning environment for all.
• Develop relationships with students built on trust and respect, enabling them to overcome barriers to learning and social integration.
• Work 1-1 with children with ADHD and challenging behaviour
What You Will Bring:
• Previous experience working with young people, particularly those with SEND or SEMH.
• A creative, proactive approach to engagement and an unwavering commitment to making a real difference.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• A patient and empathetic outlook with the resilience to face challenges head-on.
