We are seeking a skilled Infrastructure/Network Engineer to join the Technology department of a leading company in the Industrial / Manufacturing sector. This temporary position in Birmingham involves ensuring the stability and efficiency of IT systems and infrastructure.
Client Details
Leading manufacturer for automotive industry is looking for an Infrastructure/Network Engineer for a period of 6-12 months.
Description
Support in deployment of new firewalls on multiple sites
Migrate devices into In Tune
Maintain and optimise IT infrastructure to support business operations.
Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
Implement updates and patches to ensure system security and compliance.
Provide support for hardware, software, and network-related inquiries.
Collaborate with internal teams to align IT solutions with business needs.
Document system configurations and update technical manuals as necessary.
Assist in the planning and execution of infrastructure upgrades.
Ensure data backup and recovery systems are functioning effectively.Profile
A successful Infrastructure Engineer should have:
Palo Alto Firewalls including SD-WAN and Global Protect
Quest (they are doing a number of migrations between domains)
Aruba Central Wi-Fi (both setting up and migrating from Aruba standalone to a Centralised solution)
In-Tune
Migration of devices in
Deployment of packages including Microsoft EDR tools
Azure Configuration
Job Offer
Day rate ranging from £(Apply online only) per day (outside IR35)
6 month contract - possibility of extension
