Penguin Recruitment are delighted to be supporting one of our long established clients in the London region who are looking to recruit an Infrastructure Town Planner to the team on a permanent basis.
Your roles and responsibilities will consist of the following:-
You will be responsible for day-to-day management of section or project budgets including Work in progress on projects within area of responsibility.
You'll gain understanding of the importance of financial success and takes responsibility to act in the interest of achieving it.
You'll be responsible for interpreting, organising, researching, analysing, and executing a major project and or medium scale projects.
You'll gain responsibility for fee control, technical direction and effectively manages senior client liaison.
You'll build the ability to manages medium projects or several small ones with complex features.
You'll have involvement in drafting and managing planning applications, pre-application enquiries and appeals.
You will undertaking basic planning appraisals and research
Provision of guidance to engineers/architects on the production of drawings and supplemental planning information in relation to planning submissions
You'll create and prepare fee proposals to generate new business.
Build experience managing clients throughout the planning process.
Assisting and managing community engagement, committee meetings and public examinations.
Communicating with all stakeholders involved in the planning process and negotiating positive outcomes for the client.
Attend occasional Site visits and client meetings.Ideally The Successful Candidate Will
Hold an RTPI accredited degree or Masters in a related discipline
Be a chartered member of the Royal Town Planning Institute or be working
