Job Description
Injection Mould Setter - Night Shift
Location: Dengie, Essex
Salary: £35,000 + Shift Premium
Hours: Monday to Thursday, 17:30 - 07:30 (4 x 12-hour shifts)
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
We are recruiting for an experienced Injection Mould Setter to join a leading manufacturing company based in the Dengie area of Essex. This is a permanent night shift position offering excellent pay, long-term stability, and the opportunity to work in a clean, modern production environment.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the setup, adjustment, and maintenance of injection moulding machines and tooling, ensuring production runs efficiently and meets strict quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Set up and change over injection moulding tools with minimal downtime
Start up and optimise machines using setup sheets or stored parameters
Maintain efficient machine performance and troubleshoot any moulding issues
Operate and adjust ancillary equipment (mould heaters, dosers, conveyors, dryers, etc.)
Perform in-process quality checks and maintain production documentation
Ensure material traceability and maintain cleanroom standards where required
Carry out basic maintenance and support continuous improvement projects
Adhere to all safety and quality proceduresRequirements:
Proven experience as an Injection Mould Setter or Injection Moulding Technician
Background in medical device manufacturing, plastics, or cleanroom environments preferred
Strong mechanical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently on a permanent night shift
Competent using inspection tools and following tight quality standards
Confident with written documentation and basic IT (MS Office)What's on Offer:
