Job Description
We are working with our client we are seeking an experienced Injection Moulding Setter to join the night shift team.
This role plays a vital part in maintaining and optimising our production processes, with a strong emphasis on quality, efficiency, and safety.
The role will be working within our advanced moulding and cleanroom facilities and will support production by performing tool changes, setting up machinery, and ensuring optimal performance of injection moulding operations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Reporting into the Facilities and Maintenance Engineer, providing technical support on the night shift.
• To ensure that all tool changes / set-ups are carried out
• Implement machine start-ups using setting sheets / stored data, specified first off / Last off procedures.
• Carry out machine set-up, purging and remedial duties
• Set-up and adjust as necessary ancillary equipment
• Reporting of Injection Moulding/tooling related problems / issues
• Perform maintenance tasks on the injection moulding machines
• Maintain the tools, doser’s, temp controllers
• Identification of and support for ‘Continuous Improvement’ opportunities
Skills & Experience:
* Ideally an apprenticeship or similar in injection moulding
* Experience in Injection moulding.
* Flexible approach as part of a team.
* Capable of multi-tasking
* Good time-management and organisational skills.
* Strong interpersonal skills
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Proficient in use of MS Office Suite
* Capable of inspecting parts and familiar with standard inspection tools.
* Previous manufacturing medical device experience (desired but not essential)
* Experience of working within a cleanroom environment (desired but not essential)Before You Apply
