Are you an experienced Injection Moulding Setter looking for your next challenge?
Imperial Recruitment are seeking a skilled professional to join a leading manufacturing business and take responsibility for managing their own shift within a busy, multi-sector environment.
This role is ideal for a self-motivated Setter who thrives on process optimisation, problem-solving, and maintaining high-quality standards.
The Role
As an Injection Moulding Setter, you will be responsible for:
Setting, maintaining, and optimising injection moulding machines
Minimising downtime and ensuring quality standards are met
Making technical decisions independently across a range of presses and materials
You’ll be supported by a dedicated team (Operators, Material Handler, and Team Leader), allowing you to focus on machine performance and process efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Machine setup, optimisation, and troubleshooting
Conducting quality checks and maintaining high standards
Reducing downtime and maintaining production flow
Documenting production and maintenance records
Supporting and mentoring junior staff
Adhering to all safety procedures
Hours
Rotating weekly shift pattern (24/5):
Monday–Thursday: 6am–2pm / 2pm–10pm / 10pm–6am
Friday: 6am–1pm / 1pm–8pm / 8pm–3am
Salary & Benefits
Annual salary: £35,483 (dependent on experience)
22 days holiday + bank holidays

Requirements
Essential:
Minimum 2 years’ experience in injection moulding
IMT Level 3 (or equivalent) – non-negotiable
Skilled in setting, adjusting, and troubleshooting moulding machinery
Strong focus on quality and safety
Desirable:
Additional technical certifications
Experience across a variety of materials
