Overview: Working alongside an established plastic injection moulding manufacturer, we are looking to appoint Injection Moulding Setters to join a fast growing and forward-thinking team.

Remit:
* An excellent opportunity to join a forward-thinking injection moulding manufacturer of components and assemblies servicing a wide range of industries.
* Candidates MUST HAVE demonstrable experience within injection moulding manufacturing with good mould setting and processing skills
* This opportunity will suit an Injection Moulding Setter who is looking to further develop their processing skills while progressing within the business.
Role:
* The successful injection moulding technician candidate will carry out tool changes effectively and safely in the injection moulding areas of the business
* Carry out tool changes in a prompt and safe manner.
* Set-up machine operating parameters from scratch to process parts to specifications.
* Set up production moulds using established machine settings and setting sheets.
* Troubleshoot and process any issues when required.
* Record process specifications on setting sheets and PVT sheets.
* Purge the machine barrel of remaining material at the end of each order.
* Inspect sample parts to ensure accuracy and quality standards are met.
* Perform regular TPM on presses.
* Purge the machine barrel of remaining material at the end of each order.
* To drive continuous improvements ensuring product quality is maintained & good working practices are adhered to.
* To liaise with all members of the department to ensure operations run smoothly
* Liaise with toolroom and Supervisor regarding any issues with aluminum moulds
* To ensure Health & Safety rules are maintained with your own work area and demonstrate a duty of care to colleagues, visitors, contractors or anyone else on site.
Experience:
* IMT Level 2 or Equivalent industry recognised training
* Demonstrable experience within injection mouldig manufacturing
* Experience with a wide range of materials
* Able to use measuring instruments such as verniers and scales.
* Use of handheld and stationary power tools
* Use of overhead crane, forklift and pallet truck an advantage but not essential
* Good verbal and written communication
