Injection Moulding Technician
Location: Hampshire
Hours: Double day shift: 6am-2pm and 2pm-10pm with weekly rotation

Are you a technically skilled Injection Moulding Technician with a passion for precision, process optimisation, and quality? What you’ll be doing:
* Setting up and changing injection mould tools safely and efficiently.
* Preparing and planning upcoming production jobs to keep downtime to a minimum.
* Working closely with Quality Technicians, Supervisors, and Operators to ensure a smooth handover from set-up to production.
* Using structured problem-solving to identify and resolve issues for good.
* Keeping your work area clean, safe, and compliant with all production and safety standards.
* Sharing technical knowledge and helping maintain a consistent, high-quality setup process across the team.
What we’re looking for:
* Qualified Technician: NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Injection Moulding, Engineering, or Manufacturing.
* Experienced: You’ve worked in an injection moulding environment and understand the ins and outs of moulding machines, ancillaries, and materials.
* Problem Solver: You’re confident using structured troubleshooting and root cause analysis techniques.
* Detail-Oriented & Reliable: You take pride in your work, can multitask effectively, and meet deadlines without cutting corners.
* Team Player: You communicate well, adapt easily, and enjoy working with others to get the job done right.
Bonus points for:
* Experience with gate freeze studies, residence time or clamp tonnage calculations.
* Familiarity with robots, hot runner systems, or mould heaters.
