Overview: Working alongside our client, a successful injection moulding manufacturer of safety critical components, as part of their growth plan we are looking for an Injection Moulding Technician to join their team.

Remit:
* This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled Injection Moulding Technician to secure position with a forward-thinking company going through an exciting time of growth and transition
* Successful candidates will have demonstrable experience within injection moulding manufacturing with good mould setting and processing skills.
Role:
* As Injection Moulding Technician you will be required to perform mould set ups and changes in an efficient manner according to the production schedule
* Responsible for moulding machine set up including ancillary equipment as related to the moulding process
* Process moulding parameters to achieve quality parts and optimized cycle times
* Use troubleshooting skills to improve and develop repeatable moulding processes
* Assist the maintenance department within this process on technical issues as they arise
* Support and complete tool trials
* Perform all duties in a safe, non-hazardous manner in compliance with safety standards
Experience:
* Previous mould Setting & Optimisation experience within injection moulding manufacturing is ESSENTIAL
* Experience of process problem solving within an injection moulding environment
* Industry recognised injection moulding qualification would be an advantage
* Basic level of Numeracy and Literacy is required
* Good communication skills
* Strong attention to detail
* Positive can-do attitude
